Rockies Steal Rare Win at Citi Field

The Rockies again proved on Monday night that one-run road losses are a thing of the past with a 7-6 victory at Citi Field against the New York Mets.

The Rockies, before tonight, had lost 23 of 27 in Queens. They look to right that ship with this series.

The Rockies move to 7-2 on the young season. As of 10:30pm Friday night, the Dodgers were leading the Giants 6-0 in San Francisco, meaning the Rockies extend their lead in the NL East to 2 full games. If the Dodgers win, that lead decreases to 1.5. Still, a very impressive start to 2011.
